Atole for all

During October, several communities gather in Zacán —Angahuan, Ahuiran, San Felipe de los Herreros, Caltzontzin, San Lorenzo and Jicalan—  in order to present the more than 35 flavors of atole they prepare, as part of the artistic competition of the Purépecha tradition. You cannot miss this event which besides a great variety of atoles offers delicious tamales to accompany your drink.
